Date is the calendar date the transaction was posted and accepted by the general ledger (formally known as the acceptance date.) The six-digit format is in the following order: calendar year (YY), calendar month (MM), and calendar day (DD). If a budget period adjustment is made by Sponsored Financial Reporting, the date reflected will be the date the original transaction was posted and accepted by the general ledger - not the date the adjustment was made.
