The Encumbrance End Date is the last day for which salary or fringe has been encumbered. The end date can be the end date of an appointment or term,the end date of the grant (as indicated on the GDES table (CUFS) or the GDES override table (PeopleSoft), the end date of the fiscal year or a date entered by departments into PeopleSoft for draw down encumbrances.
