This represents the total amount in fringe benefit expenses to date for an employee, for the current budget period through the end of last month. The amount may include fringe charges from a prior period if a payroll adjustment (Historical Salary Adjustment (HSA) or Type 38) has been processed during this period. There may be more than one total fringe expense line for an employee if multiple payroll distribution documents have been entered.
