The project period is the time for which support (funds) of a discretionary project has been programmatically approved/awarded. A project period may consist of one or more budget periods. The total project period comprises the original project period and any extensions.
The Start date and End date are set up in the CUFS tables when the project is awarded and the project period has been defined by the agency. Any time during the project period, these dates may be changed to reflect project modifications.
